Engaging with the community

I ran for Village Board! How did it go?

I ran for Village Board in Oregon this year. My wife and I have lived in Oregon for about three years, and have found Oregon to be a welcoming community. I'm interested in making sure that it remains a great place to live for folks who have been here their whole lives, and is an attractive option for families looking to put down new roots.

The election was this past April, and I did not win. I've learned a lot about our community, local government, and the opportunities we have ahead of us. I'm excited to continue learning, and am looking forward to finding other ways I can work towards improving Oregon.
